2018 Specialized Camber Expert. Picked it up this morning. Paid $2750. Original MSRP was $4900 but it probably sold for around $4400. Seller was a super rad dude who was genuinely sad to see it go but had too many bikes and needed cash more than he needed to keep this.
Important deets: Size XL for my lanky 6’1” body which is hard to find used. Carbon main frame with an aluminum rear triangle. Fox shocks front and rear. SRAM Eagle GX 1x12 drivetrain (30Tx10-50T) and Level TL brakes. Carbon Roval wheels (27.5”). Super finicky Specialized dropper post that I already thought I broke when it got locked in the highest position only to dislodge and seemingly fix itself when I landed a small jump. Only thing not stock is the PO replaces the crappy tires with Maxxis Rekon tubeless 2.6” wide meats.
It barely fits in my Forester. AMA I guess.

Hmmm looks familiar. Kinds stinks it’s 27.5, 29 is better for an xl rider, but sweet ride never the less. It’s good that it’s the nicer kit, the sram NX is junk. AMA since I pretty much have the same bike, but with a bit more travel.

5-10 psi in the post and lube the seal with chain lube, you might need to tighten the cable. Too much air and it will send your nuts to Texas.

Yeah I’m glad I wasn’t on it when it shot up like that. The manual says never exceed 30 psi and recommends 20 psi but even that seems too much.I have around 12 in it now and it seems tolerable. I took it out and checked the cable - seems OK - definitely wasn’t the reason it locked up.

I would probably prefer 29” but the 27.5” is definitely a nice step up from my old 26”. The kit is why I went used. Budget was around $3k and new in that range for a full suspension tends to get weak drivetrain parts. Have you kept SRAM brakes? I’m not sold on them yet.

If Mike is short for Michael, is bike short for Bichael?

Nice build for that money! Carbon wheels alone and you're halfway there! Those specialized droppers are scary!

Good find! I’m now shopping for a bike in that same price range, full suspension. Hoping for a late season deal and keeping my eyes open....

Now seems to be the time to start looking. We’re far enough into the season that people are selling bikes they realize they aren’t actually riding or are upgrading while there is still season left and selling their old one.

Thanks! Yeah the posts are crazy. The manual even has a taint injury warning. The secret seems to be running the air lower than the manual says. Specialized calls for 15-20 psi but I have it around 12 and it rebounds fast enough without risk of rupturing my testicles. The carbon wheels are an odd choice in the original spec - makes the bike $5k retail while only having mid tier gears and brakes. Works out used though.

woo! sweet ride! i’d favor the carbon rims on a build like that. it’s easier and more affordable to upgrade the drivetrain than to buy a new wheelset.

Not sure how I feel about the stem/handlebar position yet. Giving it a try because that’s the OEM
setup.
But fortunately that’s about the easiest swap there it.
